    I think the 3 AF refers to "maybe" the 3rd Air Division of the 8th AF? Hope to find more on that also.
    Heading 'over' to Bury St. Edmonds to look around.


    Found that the 94th BG was stationed at Bury St. Edmunds at least until August 1944. Also have this site:

    In the continuing search on Sgt. Jenkins I found this online version of the Duxford Diary. Besides the listing of the Sgt. at the very end there is a paragraph about the 84th Service Squadron (p.18).
