Early in the US involvement in the War, the US Navy sought to "get the word out" about what was happened on several fronts. I have come across many documents from 1943 - interviews and intelligence pieces, sent far and wide. On my last trip to NARA II I came across and scanned in some documents issued by the USN CNO's Intelligence Division with regards to blockade runners and commerce raiders. Of the four I scanned in, two are now posted: Researcher@Large - 1943 Intelligence Report - Raider 'J' Stier Researcher@Large - 1943 Intelligence Report - Blockade Runner Regensburg The other two I will drop links to when I finish them. They are a summary of actions for the war up to that point as well as five pages detailing tactics used.
I've finished the last of the documents I came across - the summary: Researcher@Large - 1943 Intelligence Report - Blockade Runner Summary
