Quite simply just because it doesn't work today doesn't mean It wont work tomorrow, In the past we have never stopped developing some new tech just because it wasn't efficient or cost too much, We kept on working it till we made it cheaper and more efficient.

Looks like some oil may be renewing:

"Oil and gas fields have been proven to be getting refilled, One Australian gas field has actually been showen to be receiving very close to the same amount leaking through the earth into it as we are pumping out of it. Several Saudi Arabian wells that were though to be dry, have actually been restarted as they have suprisingly turned up full.

Dont expect this to happen globaly, It tends to be over various time frames, Could be a couple opf years, May take decades. What does come in as a factor is the locations, The oil fields based around fault lines appear to be refilled a lot faster then those that arent. But then why would the gas fields in Australia be getting filled at close to the same rate its being depleted.. Maybe there are more fault lines around the globe we dont know about?".

There was talk of 'Peak Oil' back in the day. ..Now it is so plentiful, it sells for 50 $ a barrel...Carbon fuel (oil) is such a threat to GW, that it sells for 50/barrel...does anyone see the contradiction.

The so called champions of saving the earth from man, are the ones who have the largest footprints. AG, Leonardo Dicaprio (actor), Obama, cruise, travolta etc etc.
Sony leaked emails show dicaprio used jets like taxis.
Gores entourage/homes are huge, and they carry guns, drive big SUV's.
Tom Cruise races cars, and seems fairly crazy.
Travolta captains the same plane used by L Ron Hubbard to drop frozen aliens into volcano's.

And some religious leaders claim to be a humble servant helping those less fortunate with chunky gold rings adorning every finger...and a limo waiting outside...more a situation for the rich and (in)famous...traps of the trade...hypocritical? Yes...do they do more good than bad? Who knows?

Actuallyl they will tell you that there is no way to create it. You can transform/convert it but asside from some method of punching a hole in the universe you aren't going to create it. That said there are numerous ways to convert it and just how desireable they are depends on the conversion efficiency, how much can be converted, what the waste products are, and what potential or actual risks/downsides are to the process. Many of those in current use are being made more efficient in one way or another and varioius modifications are affecting the quantity and type of waste products as well as the risks/downsides. Other methods are being researched and as suggested others remain to be considered. One must remeber the three laws however.

It is ok if NASA flys rockets... gore/movie "stars" flying a hundred/thousand miles in a private jet to protest mans use of fossil fuels is not.
Kinda like PETA nuts having pets.

Wasn't cold fusion supposed to be a way to generate energy- until, well you know...

Heard now that sun and wind have become economically comparable to fossil fuels.
How could this be possible- batteries will be earths next bane.
...i'd be ok if renewable was being pushed over fossil in order to escape the Mid East oil and its' politics/religion.
But what would happen to the billions of batteries that will be required to facilitate renewable energy...heavy metals etc...i doubt renewable will be as near as efficient as coal /oil.
Also wonder about increased car injuries due to the very heavy weights batteries carry, and the behavior of battery packs after a car accident/fire.

#25- thousands of ways to create energy-
"they will tell you that there is no way to create it. You can transform/convert it but aside from some method of punching a hole in the universe you aren't going to create it. "
    Deep and true.
Actions cause equal and opposite reactions.

Wind turbines convert linear energy into electricity. What's the problem?

There was a time when SJW said wind turbines kill many birds, bats, cause noise pollution and desecrate the horizon.
Also the turbines need batteries to store energy?
Batteries are chock full of bad stuff, and are difficult to dispose.
Could you expound on the "what's the problem" attitude

Wind turbines need batteries when the power isn't going to be used immediately. That's for home use, mostly. The big turbines just put energy into the grid.

"The problem" part is referring to not creating energy. Pretty commonly known, but that's not what alternative energy systems do. They convert energy, geothermal, wind, tide, etc., into electricity.

Energy has to be stored. Energy platforms need to store power, if it is not immediately used.
Batteries are ultimately worse than any clean coal or oil.
Point is- the algores seem to think new energy has less cons than coal or petroleum...not true.
i think algores are trying to 'gore' people into buying a more expensive form of energy, and profit from false news.
Big green energy is not green (yet).
    PS-
Happy to see God Emperor has eliminated the old fear mongering White House page on climate change...surely most people know New York was once under a mile of ice, and that (according to algore) NY was supposed to be underwater years ago.
algores new fake news film- unconventionally premiered to a snowstorm.

Were renewable energy feasible during ww2? I did not mean on the industrial scale of F-T coal liquification to diesel and petrol products but a town, village or countryside level workshops that turn wooden and organic materials into petrol products, one of that would be fuel pellets. They could be burnt for energy input to the aforementioned processes and in converted car engine for civilian transportation and thus relieve somewhat the strain on national production on petrol products. For Norway and Ukraine where hydroelectricity has been abundant, the idea would be using hydroelectricity to be the energy input in making those civilian petrol products.

This solution would work best in nations with lots of woods and swamps -- Soviet Union, Finland, Sweden, Burma, Thailand, Vietnam, China and some parts of Japan.

T.rump can ignore the problems, the world will just have to suffer.

As for energy being stored, not an issue with wind turbines, they only feed to the grid, so smog-factories can take a break with the pollution production.

Back to now, economics aside, liquid batteries are available. Shall national level government subsidize some costs of installing few intermodal containers underground. For example, an isolated port where rail and road tranports have been lacking or insufficicent -- only 1 train transport arriving in town every weak and the port is not connected to any highway. So in essence, the only way in and out is by sea. Then the intermodal containing liquid batteries are installed underground somewhere between port and rail station facilities. Given that such an isolated town would likely have ample of land, solar, wind or hydroelectrical power would also likely be feasible. Then the batteries store all energy input including renewable so that the town is self sufficient in energy use.

What problems. Earth is doing earth things...Our climate is controlled by the sun.

There are sjw who say wind turbines contribute to bird and bat kills. Where do you stand on that

If so, can we store the energy in hydrogen. For example, extra energy is used for electrolysis of water or cracking hydrocarbons or organic materials. The products are hydrogen, lighter hydrocarbons and organic materials -- more organic starting material for industry.
