Restoration of an 1944 Luftwaffe Inverter Engine U17

Received this old Engine and IT was in Bad condition,not even sure if IT will ever Run again.it got some broken cables and other damaged stuff.. Ive removed everything and cleaned it...thats it for now,i will continue my work

Its already painted with clearcoat,now i have to Put everything on the right place again...hope IT will work

You did a tremendous job on that one!

 

IT wasnt that Hard to repair it..a second,but different looking Engine is in the way.

No one will believe, well maybe Jeff, how hard it is to find a

1944 Luftwaffe Inverter Engine U17 can be in East Alabama !

Great post, I use to love to tinker with electric and gas motors and engines. Glad you are restoring them.

 

Im selling this one as i reveived some other engines wich are much better
