    Bit of a military tradition using every successful river crossing as a toilet. Seem to recall not uncommon among many great commanders, ancient & modern.

    Completely Wrong. - I don't like Coffee, strictly spirits in the evenings.
    As for the rest of your assessment.... erm... [​IMG] Where's the hidden camera?

    Looks like the commentary on Churchill's trip to the river is one of AB's additional notes to the diaries, added at a later date.

    I pissed in the Shatt Al Arab on several occasions-Mainly because it was more hygenic than the porta loo's :cool:
