    Okay, book question (sorry for this - it's a while since I saw a good SF film).
    Which "hero" made it his mission in life to kill the captain/ crew of a space ship called the Vorga-T?
    Clue - the guy could teleport.

    Its the guy in Alfted Bester's "The Star's my Destination"
    Gulliver someone or other, but I don't have access to the book right now

    btw, what's the problem with book questions -- real SF comes on paper!

    certainly read what to us is classic SF.

    I am currently reading the foundation series, I read the lensman last year and I have some more EE Doc Smith as well that I have yet to get round to. I am also a huge PKD fan though his novels are generally rubbish, but his short stories are the bees knees.

    Between PKD short stories, Lensman and Foundation you have pretty much covered most modern SF ideas and films as well as seen the background for the entire Star Wars universe.
