    .....I was one of the ''older'' Marines being 27 and 28 when we crossed the equator....what they did is they had you crawl along the deck/throw old food at you/etc...well, I wasn't going to let some bootcampers or anyone treat me like that ....that seems like what kids do at a college....so my CO called me in and asked me why I wasn't participating ....and he gave me a bad write up on my record--what a jerk
