LEO ? isnt that short for Leopard ? Thats what it is in Denmark atleast. Anyway the Strv 122 is a Leopard 2A5, just with extra armor and some other electronics. KBO
Yes leo stands for leopard and i think that it is a big difference between leo 2A5 and strv 122 mainly in the electronics and for me that is sweidsh it is a STRV 122 /Hoffe
Ok, well i was just bginning to think you were saying Leo didnt mean Leopard. Yes the electronics arent all the same, they are supposed to be better in the Strv 122, than in the Leo 2A5. However the new Leo 2A6 should have just as good electronics as the Strv 122. Best regards, KBO :smok:
Yes the electronics in the the leo 2A6 are just as good in the strv 122 in my eyes the only thing that is different and better in the leo 2A6 is the gun /Hoffe
The STRV122 or Leopard2a5S also has a new comand and control device installed for the commander, extra armor (and new hull)is also a huge advantage over te old Leo 2a5/a6.

Yeah, you are right, I also see Dutch numberplates, but still, on the sides of the tank(s) you clearly see GE wich means Germany, if it was a Dutch tank it would say NL, though, its possible this leo is taking part in an exercise for the German/Dtch army corps...
