Seeing the ovwhelming populatiry of the LOTR quiz (83 pages of popularity!) and the Sci-Fi-Capital ships topic in the members lounge makes it seem reasonable to assume that people here will know alot about Star Wars as well :p So I've decided to start a quiz

First question: Who was the commander of the First Death Star; the one seen in episode IV

Han Solo is an ex-Imperial,but I imagine that's not the answer you're looking for.

No Sturm, it was the answer I was looking for. I guess you read the Han Solo books?

never heard of Tycho Celchu but a quick check shows he wasn't in IV

both, Han flew tie fighters for the empire before and during meeting Chewie. I think he ended up a squadran leader before leaving.

Tycho's one of the pilots who survives the Death Star run.

    Some background info:
Tycho defected to the rebellion when the Empire vaped Alderaan. He was there for the evacuation of Echo Base on Hoth so he would only have appeared in Episode V.

(I don't remember Han flying TIE's only that he graduated from Imp Academy...where he won the Corellian blood stripes on his pants through bravery)

Edit: Sorry my bad. Tycho wasn't with the Falcon- that was Wedge Antilles. Tycho was flying an A-wing drawing off the TIE's so Wedge and Lando could get the Death Star.
