Blech! First of all, never, ever, use Geocities... [IMG]

Second, never ever dare to prefer a lousy first-person-shooter like MOH to that pinnacle of computer gaming known as wargaming, most particlarly the turn-based variety. Thou hast been warned. :D

As a public service I threw in a bunch of "Barbarossa to Berlin" screenies in my backup storage site, hope that works. It's a great game, even though I haven't played it much lately. Might consider picking it up again if someone here is up for a Play-By-Email scenario, heh.

    Hey -
I bought Call of Duty and CMBB a week or two ago. Beat Call of Duty on EASY but it was still tough at some points.

Anyways, CMBB is awesome! The only copy the store had was the Special Edition with the BONUS CD (which had 150 Mods or something). So i dont need to DL the patch (Special Edition is already fixed etc). Havent been able to play it too much, and i dont think i am very good at it [IMG] but if you want a PBEM Game, i am up for it!

    Happy hunting.

I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have downloaded the West Front 1.50 patch from Talonsoft, and it works on my W2000 [IMG] Challenges are being accepted. Please keep difficulty level *very* low while I relearn the hang of it.

Later I may get to lick East Front II as well.

My WF is the European version. I still don't know how compatible these are, but I do know that at least patch numbers must be the same for PBEM.

I joined www.theblitz.org , who are a fine bunch of gentlemen. They even have a rogue's gallery, something which is always fun to look at [IMG]

    Cheers,
    Miguel

    Got it! I have :

    - EF II running on patch 1.02 US, and
    - WF running on patch 1.50 UK!

Problem solved. No need to reformat at all :D :D :D

In case anyone from this forum is interested, I managed to kill all the bugs and am running East Front, West Front, and Rising Sun, all Gold editions.

I'm already starting some PBEM games, so if anyone from this forum wants to conquer Moscow or die trying, please be my guest :D

Rather buy the whole Campaign Series at Matrix - it is cheap and plays really well and you get East Front 2, West Front and Rising Sun. You can also get people to play against at Welcome to the Blitz -TheBlitz

Meet me there for some PREM battles and rise up the ladders.
