Carl, be sure to put the </font><blockquote>code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">http://</pre>
in front of the "www".
How about some of these? http;//www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/gif/itchscratch.gif Looks like no matter what I do, these aint going to work. Oh well--at least the stuka did, but only after you click on the stuff and it appears on the link Grrrr. [ 07 October 2002, 06:31 PM: Message edited by: C.Evans ]
Yep--that was the one. I bet Friedrich would get a kick out of that one--and Erich a kick out of the stuka one. I wonder what im still doing wrong? I guess ill leave the computery magical wizzardry to those who know what they are doing.
Well I did a quick search for your image and found it at a different site. Just put and paste this in the message: </font><blockquote>code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;"></pre>
Great Idea Carl! I'm going to add a few of these nice graphics to this site, with a tutorial on how to use them too. [ 07 October 2002, 06:40 PM: Message edited by: Otto ]
That'll work and, PLEASE keep Snoopy Id like to find a good shot of him for an Avatar image--one like the image that finally worked--one in which nhe is a ww1 fighter pilot.
Oh I forgot to mention, that when I click on the image button--it usually has the http:// already in and will only let me start from www.mixilplic/as.dd.etc. And then I jusk click on OK, and it does whats been happening.
I tried to fix 'em for you, but the first two are broken. No biggy, I'll keep snoopy as an image and I'll get Peppy to make him an Avatar too. Whew! Talk about post padding! I jumped past 1,000 posts in this thread alone! [ 07 October 2002, 06:48 PM: Message edited by: Otto ]
Thanks for fixing the Fighters, the Snoopys and Hitler. I might try some more tomorrow Many thanks again, and to let Peppy make a Snoopy avatar. Post padding for learning anyday [ 07 October 2002, 06:48 PM: Message edited by: C.Evans ]

Here's a test with a sound file. Hmmm... what do I have with a military theme... I'll try this. It's 110K, so, it'll take a few seconds to load. http://www.klopman.net/youparty.wav
