"The colour out of space" Whitestar 1944 As a historical society, we were invited to take part in the production of a film based on a short story by H.P Lovecraft (1890-1937). The film is called: "The colour out of space" It is a 60 minute mystery thriller based on H.P Lovecraft's short story The film was shot at various locations in the Swabian-Frankish forest and immediate surroundings in spring/summer 2008. The Whitestar 1944 society appeared as speaking extras with a Jeep. We also supplied the uniforms of a returning German soldier and an American officer.
