They all sound like some pretty impressive collections to me. Currently I try to concentrate in corresponding with veterans instead. Collecting medals is an expensive hobby and I figure that there will always be time for it later on. Best regards/ Daniel
Well, all I can say is that it's a pity there's no symbol on the Forum for someone shaking their head in sorrowful disbelief....( shake, shake, shake... ) ( PS : Are Hooter's thinking of opening a branch in London ?? )
Great photo's! Post some pic's when you meet again, this is fun to watch. I told my girlfriend you guys would meet at Hooters and she started to laugh. She knew Hooters and was there once. I didn't realize that all female personell is selected on special features unless Barbara told me. Although I found it a strange name for a restaurent. Carl is your left hand looking for an iron cross at the group picture? My EK collection: 1 EK II 1 cased EK I Translation of the poster: The defense. The attack of the enemy breaks on the tough defense of the infantry.
Hi Volkbert I don't kiss and tell My right hand was in a better spot on the pretty gal to my right Thank you for the translation And, one can never own too many EKs
That is one outstanding collection......EK's that is. I am assuming these will be willed to the kids correcto ? man, and I don't even own a EK 2 or 1 again quite impressive..... E on for the lucky moment in time.
Gregs got a one nice collection that stands out by itself. Garys is more International than mine or Gregs combined. Mine--you can say, I have a one track mind when it comes to collecting militaria. PS, glad you got to see the pictures. I think Greg will take it with him for trading in the afterlife. "We'll" have to see about you getting an Ek--will we not?
Carl, ja bitte ! would love to have one of each. still not able to access all the gooides like icons and my posts are not being accepted entirely......oh joy
Sorry bout the computer woes my friend. If you catch the hacker--send him a computer virus for me will you? Ill see what I can do in the future about the ek.
Thanks for the PM Carl, had so mutch to catch up on lately, i missed this one. I know, i know, i should be hung drawn and quartered. How can i miss photos like that. And the medals were nice as well Those girls realy want an invite to here. They have obviously not heard about British GRUNTs then But i am sure i could fined room for one or two in my wagon. Even if i have to throw out the ammo, food and radios
Quite welcome and ill let them know they are hearby invited to spend some time with some British Grunts in England. Im going there next week with another friend of mine for lunch--hes paying and im going to be busy watching over the ladies. Medals? What Medals?
Bish .. you stud ...... Carl yes let me know where there is a nice little EK 2 without paying big bucks. Remember when they were being sold for under $ 20.00 ?
Carl, for watching over those ladies, you deserve a medal. It must be a tough and dangerous job, but its good to know there are brave men like you out here willing to take in on.
Stud, no way. But those girls would brighten any excersises. And you can we certain we would make sure they stayed warm
Carl, do you know if heres anyway of getting a copy of that poster. I already have an SS recruitment poster, but i would love that one on my wall.
Well, how couldn't you see them?! One was precisely ON the spot where EVERY man looks at first! Bish: I don't remember. Who had won my sister finally? Steve or yourself? With all those H TER'S girls inside your wagon there won't be room for my sister, so you could do some charity and give her to Steve as a 2nd price!

[/QB]</font>[/QUOTE]Well, i'm sure as a gesture of respect for a fellow soldier i could bow out of that one. Hope your sis ain't to dissapointed
Well, maybe she will be disappointed... She lost a British soldier and won an American one... Is that good or bad?
