    Hi,

I got a question regarding Soviet Tu-2 bombers. It has three MGs mounted at three different turrets. How much they can traverse in each direction (left-right, up-down)? I am especially interested at the ventral (belly) turret.

    Thanks

Found the answer from a Russian aviation site. Here they are:

    1. Cockpit. 1x12.7mm Berezin UB. Operated by the navigator. Ammo: 170-190 rnd. Left/Right: 45 degrees, up 90 degress, down 10 degrees.

    2. Back. 1x12.7mm Berezin UB. Ammo: 250 rnd. Operated by the radio operator. Right: 110 degrees, left: 105 degrees, up: 65-70 degrees, down: 15 degrees.

    3. Belly. 1x12.7mm Berezin UB. Ammo: 300-350 rnd. Operated by the gunner. Left/right: 23 degrees, up: 1 degrees, down: 45 degrees.

Just a quick word matey, If you are going to post information from another site, always post the link below the information you have used, and it won't hurt to wrap the 'borrowed' information in a quote either.
Saves us being accused of plagiarism.:)

    Happy posting.
