Mathematically France still has a chance to advance to the Round of 16 .
WoW Greece got lucky today, that Red Card was justified as questionable calls by the Ref.

On Spain TV NetWork, Prima Donna Golden boy Torres gave his explanation for Spain's Embarrassing Lose in the "Group Of Death" He felt the Swiss played to Hard for a first game, and the Ref. Allowed to much freedom to the Swiss when cards should of been handed out as the bad luck Goal.

First the bad luck Goal looked more like a slow moving train wreck, and a bad move by Spain's Goaltender Casillas paying to much attention and thinking with the wrong Head, To a WOMAN! the root of all Evil.:D

The blame in Spain falls mainly on the flame.

TV announcer Sara Carbonero, right, girlfriend of Spain goalkeeper Iker Casillas, left, films a segment before Wednesday's World Cup match between the Spaniards and Switzerland.

Behind every great athlete stands a woman . . . being blamed for everything he does wrong.

For the second time during this World Cup, a fetching young woman is being called out after her boyfriend loused things up on the field.

Spaniard, please! Stop copy/pasting news articles! Last warning for this thread! No articles - DISCUSSION!

The Red Card was certainly not questionable - the player clearly kicked the guy in the thigh (level of hurt does not matter, its still against the rules). He deservedly got sent off for such a boneheaded move.

We are talking about world cup stuff, so that means we are within prescribed parameters of said thread. Just because we don't jump on the same kickball uber alles bandwagon and strive to keep it sort of civil doesn't mean we can't post here. That is until the mods say we can't anyway. Besides, judging from the responses, it is about 97 - 1 pro-kickball here, so the few anti-kickballers who post here shouldn't be that big of a deal to you people.

However, I do respect your position and love for the game though, no matter how lame I think it is. Enjoy!

Spaniard since you want logic you'll get some:

    1) if Mussolini does not wish copied pasted articles in his thread , what's the point in getting him angry by pasting, your dicussion alone would just be fine ?
    2) If you want ot create your own thread with pasted articles incuded , go ahead you are free to do so.
3)Don't get me involved in you discussion , it's a very bad idea, especially if you spray false information: my picture has two printed sources in the lower angles

By all means , who said you couldn't and I suggest we go back to the topic .

My pronostics about France were right, they didn't show an ounce of reactivity and deserved their 0-2 vs Mexico. Their attitude is absolutely unforgivable.

Since the philosophical aspects of respectful anti-kickball hooliganism has sort of been put aside for now, I have to ask....why did the Mexicans play France so hard? Was it because of their resentment over the French occupation of Mexico during the 1860s, when the US couldn't enforce the Monroe Doctrine due to it's pre-occupation with the American Civil War? Or was it because the French were just being....French?

And I prefer solitary confinement to general population....

I think that everytime the Mexico team shouted Da Goal the French thought they were saying Degaul and paused to salute or tried to kiss someone.:D

The Mexicans did not play hard , they played normal, nor do they have any historical resentment , the French were absent . I don' t think any of these guys have any idea of what happened under the II French Empire. Kicking the ball makes feet smart , not the brains :D

Having brains in their feet must be a good thing then. That explains why they head north all the time....

Spaniard - I have already asked you TWICE in this thread alone not to copy/paste articles. Sure, I could make 10000 posts every day copy/pasting all the World Cup Articles alone that I read online. It doesn't contribute to this forum at all, doing such a thing. As I stated in my OP, this is for DISCUSSION, not Copy/Pasting articles. IF you wish to Copy/Paste articles, by all means go ahead and do so in your OWN thread. I have created this thread for Discussion, and that is that. Is that too hard for your thick skull to comprehend?

Some interesting predictions again lads. Slovenia (at least one of their players) has come out and said that they will beat the USA - think this will add some fuel to the fire, or is just talking-the-talk?

One would think the English would Algeria (afterall, they bother share one thing in common - blundering goalies) but I think Skippers prediction is closer to the real mark vs. Snipers prediction (you're that confidant with English goalkeeping, sniper? ;) )

Germany against Serbia....Germany will certainly win. It could quite possible be a goal fest for them - like against Australia - or it could be a low scoring affair. I favor Germany for a 1 - 0 win.

Only 20 or so minutes until the first game of the day. Lets hope for some good play and entertaining games!

The Times said that IKER (Spain's goalkeeper) was distracted with Sara. Wouldn't you?
