If you choose the broadest defintion of the US i.e. soverign US territory you need to do some up to the minute research to answer it.

For me, the bottom line as to the ignorance of US people, they put the current admin in power.

Guam ,Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands are not US states.
    they are Territories or Protectorates.
if they were states our flag would have 53 stars.
(Alaska and Hawaii were the last two - added in 1959)

She knew what I was talking about. Those countries where you can stand fully inside one country and hock a loogie on the other. Of course, being the genteel young lady that she is, that is not the exact definition she had in mind.

And it's a considerable improvement over the ape that was previously in the White House.

No one said they were, but being US Territories, that are in fact, US borders.

I think we are all aware of that. Not sure just why you think it relevant though.

If one were to make the same coment about the current resident of the White House - how would it be taken?

Seems you were alluding to similar in all but name in the statement:

to the ignorance of US people, they put the current admin in power.

As nothing but an impartial observer I'd say you went further and insulted your own population rather than a few politicians.

I most certainly am insulting my own population - we’ve shown, time and time again, how arrogant and ignorant we are.

At least the "No child left behind" fiasco is heading out the door.

Obama frees 10 states from No Child Left Behind

"The first 10 states to be declared free from the landmark education law are Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, Oklahoma and Tennessee. The only state that applied for the flexibility and did not get it, New Mexico, is working with the administration to get approval.
A total of 28 other states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico have signaled that they, too, plan to flee the law in favor of their own plans."

I think you simply are afforded a bigger stage than most to show-case the fact...i think you'l find most countries are the same in this instance...worse...just dont see it.

the question should be phrased "what two countries have PHYSICAL borders with the United States ?" answer:Canada and Mexico
or should it be phrased like...
"what countries border the United States , it's TERRITORIES and PROTECTORATES ?"
in that case the correct answers now become many instead of two.

the point of this is that if you want the correct answer--ask the correct question !

Well in that case you want to ask what countries have land borders with one or more of the 50 states of the United States. A water border is just as physical as a land border. If you ask "What countries border on the 50 states?" You get a slightly different answer. The last question you asked above has an even different one. "What countries border on Sovereign US territory?" Is the most difficult.

Dunno, but since it wasn't directed at the current President, I used ape to describe the last one because knuckle dragging neanderthal was too many words, lol.

While he had his problems your characterization is neither fair nor accurate and seems intended to be inflamatory. It also is completley off topic for this thread.

I think we got left behind cuz.........our educated department of education forgot to consult with the schools before creating the petition to permit us to be left behind...........hence we now have our own identity amongst the 10 probably creating a new category for the department of education.........the "don't know what to do with you" category.
