Back to "Heavier Xmas" songs... Mötley Crüe´s drummer Tommy Lee made a great solo album ( Not just remembered for the women he dated ): The band was called methods of Mayhem. I recommend. Great head banging songs.

The "new" Bowie album is good. Made in 2001 but stored until this day. Recommended. A bit of a hybrid, some songs remind of pre-Ziggy period, then there's more commercial 80's and several acoustic songs, too. No chorus so perhaps an album in the making when decided to Make a new album.
I recall this weird single combination: first everything is a sin I do, then What have I done to deserve this...BTW, Neil Tennant was working for Smash hits before his pop career. PS. You don´t make success the first time already. West end girls was released some 5 times before making a hit, and A-ha´s Take on me six times....
This morning just re-listened to the greatest guitar solo of all time. David Gilmore virtually makes the guitar bleed during the second solo. Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb (PULSE Restored & Re-Edited) - YouTube
