I stumbled across the Silver Star citations on the USMC website while trying to find info on a Navy medic/surgeon who received a SS for actions on Cape Gloucester. I didn't find his listed, but thought this would be a useful resource to post here. There is good news and bad news. The citations are PDF files that can be downloaded, and are grouped by the first initial of the last name.

Good news: If your Marine's last name starts with 'Q', it's a quick download. Bad news: If it starts with 'S', it will be a bit longer.
