Veteran Interview

For the 38th, he was assigned to the staff. He shared command of the "division" with another officer while they were waiting for their commander who never showed up. Some other officer showed up after they were directed to the front to fight against the Americans. I know other than staff work, he was always assigned with some anti-tank unit. Never with the infantry or grenadiers.
