Me three Lou..., nothing found after full system scan with latest updates. I think this remains a left-over or something. My Firefox also doesn't let me in at all, while the IE is clean and lets me in without warnings. Still there on Chrome however.

Just heard a cute one, while it has been illegal to buy and sell human beings in America for a long time, Scott Walker is living proof that politicians can still be bought.

Where there is smoke, there is fire...Firefox wouldn't allow entry. Switched to IE, then attempted to access site. My screen locked up. Tried cntrl, alt, delete and about 10 windows task managers popped up. Took about 10 minutes to finally close everything. There is a problem here.
But, in order to get my fix, I went to WW2 talk and saw some interesting posts by some of our established rogues. Some very intense dialog between Proelator and mkenny. That was good reading....Some other surprising things by some who are established here....Interesting to see that the Net might not be so big after all. Or I've now seen it all and must turn back lest I fall off the edge of the internet.

I've been getting the warnings on my laptop for days now, IE and firefox, but just tried a different computer and everything is fine?? Could there be something hiding in there? Firefox would not let me access at all on the laptop but went straight through on the desk top.

Blocked by Google Chrome - can't insert any image again (only goes to a URL not allowing me to add from my own images), so can't add the screen print.

IE8 let me in this time when I typed in the URL for WW2F instead of using my shortcut. Using my shortcut brings up IE8, but my virus checker/firewall from internet provider F-Secure blocks acess to WW2F. And when I am in here, if I open a new tab looking for other info, I get re-directed to ads, or when I try to open a website on the new tab I am being shifted to other advertisements or browsers. I've run various anti-virus and security checks, as well as Ad-aware and had nothing on my system to cause this.... sent Jeff an email outside of WW2F. I even had Facebook suddenly come up in a tab.

Is this risky behavior? And why am I partaking in something that could have negative effects on my wallet? I like coming here. Kind of a habit now. But I've been warned several times visting here could give me a virus... It's the virtual equivalent of sex and WW2F is the harlot. Damn you. Now I'll have to program an increase in protection that will probably dull the effect of surfing...

    Poppy,

Just before my computer crashed I had the same thing happen to me. When I hit alt, control, delete I had 23 task manager windows pop up and they had a mind of their own. Even my kill switch wouldn't work. After a half an hour I was able to reboot and received a counterfit virus warning. All hell broke loose and a professional looking icon came up called Paladium Plus. I watched in horror as this program told me how it was eating all my operating systems, files....etc. It was making fun of the process. I couldn't do a thing...... WATCH FOR PALADIUM PLUS !!!! It did me in !!!

I remember a past member that was dishonorably discharged not to long ago. He seemed to post alot of cut and paste and had many posts that were not friendly. The virus seemed to happen around that time he was discharged...... Just a thought

When opening a new tab while still having WW2F open, one of the redirects I keep getting is to something called Tazinga, also Google keeps kicking me out saying that the post is inappropriate for the URL when all I've done is post something like navy movies in the search box

The downside of popularity is that it looks like we are attracting some very unwanted attention by hackers....... The site is still, barely, usable with javascript disabled, not letting JS run will prevent most attacks, but it's a pain (redirects won't work etc.).I really don't like having ww2f listed as an attack site as this means I cannot access from anything but my home PC as I'm not going to put other people's system's at risk.I also noticed we ended up on McAfee's red list, somebody should drop them a message to tell them we are working on it, there is a link for the site owner to comment on their advisory page (hope it translates to English for you).ww2f.com | McAfee SiteAdvisor Software

    Folks

am finding the probs seems to be with V-Bulletin overall as a whole. another air-site that I mod on has similar problems and it was just changed over from another server with the same reaction(s) posed here by our membership.

    Friends,
I have not been able to get on in a long time with Mosilla Firefox running Vista and each try generated warnings which I initially ignored after reading that the virus was removed from this site.....then my regular look of the site changed and I began to try and could no longer get on. Have I been black balled or is it a virus? I finally was able to get on with IE today but wonder if it will continue to work as I did receive initial warnings of malware as I got in. I am not so smart at these things despite some computer background. I feel like the proverbial virgin that went to the doc for the pap smear and woke up with venereal disease after the visit. Despite the feeling of uncleanliness I suffer the frustration of monitoring posts that have long gone by by now and now that I am here I am also afraid to leave as well. Now this has left me feeling like those troops that used to come over from Texas just to visit the house of ill repute in the Mora area. They went home with more than they came for. I have tried cross dosing my computer with anti-biotics of different manufacture and it has not helped. I also reloaded an upgraded version of Mosilla Browser to experience same failures. I guess you should never listen to the sweet looking lady when she tells you she is free of virus. If you have a remedial suggestion for me I am looking for the cure for my system if that is what is at fault. I done all I could except kept away from the lady(WWIIForum).

Otto is working on resolving the problem. vBulletin is not being very helpful at all. It is as thought they want the product to fail.
