Hi Ray, I saw the above on TCM a number of months ago. I didnt care for it and it quickly went wierd.
an oddball movie eh?...the guy in the centre pic? looks like a young robert beatty? that's what made me look at the movie credits, but it's not..
heh heh, actually, i thought he looked like a younger version of Gene Evans ;-)) in some Sam Fuller war movie. Sorry for the bad typig--im typinf with one left finger (im right-handed) and holding my Cat w/ right hand.
I know ive been saying this for weeks on end now but, those long awaited A Time To Love and A Time To Die stills, are now on their way including a couple of surprises ;-)) So bear with the US postal service and when they come in, ill get them scanned to a disk and either ask Ray to post them, or try to myself?
The stills are now in, at least 20 of them-I got a few freebies two are doubles. Ill try to get them scanned this week to cd and will attempt to post them. Lou, ill need you help to fix em for me ;-)
Another update. All stills now on CD so ill try to start posting them tomorrow. I got back home hours later than normal and am tired.
well, I just attempted to try posting some of my A Time To Love and A Time To Die Stills, and nothing comes up. Back to square one for now :headbash:
I visited Lou Reda Productions the other day to get some advice on something. Lou is probably one of most knowledgeable and nicest guys anybody would ever want to meet. It’s so good to see there are new features in the process of being made on WWII and the Korean war as we speak. Some of the pictures posted on the walls are amazing… and some I doubt anybody has ever seen. The volume of video and those large silver film cases containing all aspects of the military during that time period is impressive -- some of which have yet to even be viewed (yes, hard to believe). Good to know there is still more to come...
Some neat ones in here: Somebody to Love-- A Historywave tribute to 20th Century Naval Warfare (youtube.com)
