It looks like everybody has the same issues as myself - no time/opportunity to model (though I'm sure you all have different - and probably better - reasons).

This week I'll be starting on a Flames of War US M-10 platoon. It's a 15mm scale WW2 minatures game.

    Here's the platoon box:

Awesome kit! You must be looking forward to have a go at it!
What scale did you say it was? 15mm? does that mean these vehicles are just 15 mm tall?

Btw, I recently got a Nashorn tankhunter by Revell. Looks awesome with that open top. Lot of parts there, especially on the gun. Can't wait for the moment I have time to start working on it!

With regard to wargames a "mm" reference is usually refers to the height of the model of a standing man in milimetres. 6mm and sometimes 10mm is often used for divisional scale wargames, 10mm and up is often used for skirmish and company or battalion level games.

Games Workshop's Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 is nominally 28mm, however it's worth pointing out that for the most part GW's models are made to "Heroic Scale", which means every soldier is built like Arnie and carries a personal weapon that'd dwarf most machine guns in size.

Here's some finished pics. Man, I need a better camera. :-?
The 15mm scale that Battlefront uses for Flames of War is close to 1/100 scale.
