Beautiful camo too. How do you paint tracks btw ? Wait, I´ll start a new topic on how to paint tracks, so don´t reply to that here.

Wow - feeling slightly intimidated by how fantastic your models are...

I've just finished converting a T-34 into an example captured & used by the Germans.

Now I'm about to start a Bristol Blenhiem, doing it up to look like one my friend's Grandad flew in.

    oh, btw Panzer, your problem:

    Been there!
If you have skirts on the side of the tank, try holding the ends of the track together with staples.
You can still do this without the skirts there, but you will have a visible odd-looking long thin smooth bit across your tracks.

I was just about to say that too!... fantastic, ME 262. I recently finished a Elephant too, and I actually thought I could be very proud of it but since I have seen yours...

Thank you very much. I shall see and try this. I 'm working on a Hanomag right now, without any problems (!) btw :D ;) but when I have finished that I shall try to fix the tracks of the panther...

OK guys, I've got a little question to ask.
I'm currently working on a Hanomag (SdKfz 251/1) which is located in Stalingrad, 1942. The painting of the machine itself was no problem, but I got two Panzergrenadier Soldiers with it and I don't know in what colour I should be painting their uniforms. Maybe one of you can help me out?
    Thanks in advance!

PS: me262, what scale is it you're working on? 1/35?

Looks very sweet! Especially that flag... did the GErmans really do that too? The only Reichsflag I've ever seen on a tank was on top of the turret of a panzer III on the Eastern Front.

    Ta!
Yes - I copied the tank directly from a book on captured tanks in German service.
( http://www.achtungpanzer.com/t34.htm has the same picture - the one captioned:
    "PzKpfw T-34 747(r) of 10th Panzer Division's 7th Panzer Regiment.")

Flags (or more often HUGE German insignia) were common on captured stuff to prevent 'friendly fire' - although captured Soviet tanks were usually used in the spearhead, to reduce such incidents as much as possible.

The T-34 conversion was actually very simple.
remove front & rear trackguards, add an extra vision periscope on the turret & a radio arial (bits of sprue) and a stowage box on the front right (made from an old credit card!).
Move the light & add a wire to it, add a flag, paint it grey, paint on the cross and the number 5, and hey presto!

    Nice work Ricky!
You can psot several pictures at once by browsing to the picture you want, then click 'add attachment' and you'll get another box for anohter pic. You can do this as often as you want until you reach your upload limit.
