I did not see any mistake in your english?
Which tank are you going to build, if I may ask?

I myself have three tanks in the pile: A KingTiger (porsche Turret!!!), a Stug III with early mantlet and a Jagdtiger. Which one.. hmm...

    AWESOME!!!

I've got thesame Jagdtiger in the pile over here!! That's going to be an awesome build, don't you think?
And I made the halftrack you've got over there some time ago- it's a very neat kit. I can assure you! :D

My Kfir is practically completed, but like an idiot I did what I always do, which is start rushing when I'm nearly finished, and ended up breaking the nose-mounted probe.

That is now the only thing missing, and I'm trying to work out how to make a replacement.

I decided to post pictures of my Kfir C2 without the nose probe...

    Side:

    Top:

And to show what I had to change from the Mirage III that came in the box:

    1) Cockpit - altered the dashboard, altered chair headrest (which caused problems fitting the canopy!), and added a harness to the chair

    2) Added the little air intakes - two per side

    3) Added air intake in ront of the tail

    4) End of fuselage shortened

    5) Nose probe added, mini 'strakes' added to sides of nose

    6) Canards added

    7) Additional hardpoint added under air intakes

    8) Additional hardpoint added under the outer wing. Isreali Python missile created by modifying a Sidewinder

    9) Modified shope of the bulge under rear fuselage

You may have noticed that the underwing fuel tanks are a different colour to the plane itself... Fear not, Ricky has not gone colourblind. When the C2 was introduced they simply used the fuel tanks from the C1... which were painted in desert camo.

To give you an idea of how long I took to finish this model, the Kfir C2 was still in use by the IAF when I started it! :D

    Hi Ricky!

That is one awesome model you made there! It must have been a great challenge to make the modifications. I'm very happy for you that you finished it! (erm, when did you start building it?)
    Teehee! ;) great job.

Thanks, it is probably the one model I am most proud of.

When did I start it? Well, I found the box that the model kit arrived in (I bought it from Hannants), and it was addressed to the house I lived in at Uni, so that makes it 1998/1999 that I started it...

hey, i been here some time now, and some of the members has been getting better and better, i see them all this time and if things keep going this way some of you will beat me.
one very important point is never be afraid of doing something, remember that is a hobby, your life do not depend on it, that some are better than others is ok, but is up to us to be better, and we learn from ours mistakes
    happy modeling!!!!!!

i deviate from the instruction sheet, build the whole hull first, need to reposition some little parts, add towing points. rebuild the front corners, in the kit they are in an angle, , but they are squared
in the turret i need to reposition the gun port, fill the bottom part of the turret, is wrong in the kit.

Nice to see some 'mid-build' pictures. :)

My Kfir is now finished - I used a pin. I had to get one with an oval head so that it faired into the existing probe, and file it down so it fit properly. It's a little bit too long, and a touch sharp, but it looks good.
