Well, I am just 18. On April 26th.

Exactly! Some of us, here are young! Enjoy it! That's why life's for! I should go back to Germany and enlist in the army but I am too bloody happy around here in Mexico... Why here? Just because.

And for the leder ones, enjoy life as well!

My grandfather taught me the other day that age does not matter. he played "gotchas" (paint wars) at his 86... And certainly beated us... (damned war experience...) heheh [IMG]

Paintball? Great Idea for a batchelor party! We had the 'lucky' guy dress up in a pink bunny suit and let him loose in a forrest while for the other 8 of us the hunting season started! It is really funny when you see a buddy running from the painballs, dressed like like big pink Bunny!

Or join a Counter Strike clan and practise your tactics in the painball arena....good fun, Carl! :D

I like the wide range of ages here. It's nice to know that even though we have 'kids', (I use the term loosely), of only 15 visiting the Forums, there seems to be a good level of maturity and respect here.

This is a great situation because we don't have either of the two things that can ruin a Forum like this:

The first is that we don't have ignorant and brash young kids spouting off every chance they get. That's a credit to our younger member like Lone Soldier, Panzerknacker and panzergrenadiere, people who I'm sure we were all surprised to hear how young they actually were. Our young members are quite knowledgeable and mature.

The second is the humility of our older members. (I'll spare the ages and names ;) ) Even thought the WW2 knowledge that our older members posses could fill an encyclodaedia, there are no know-it-all that tell us what we should think about WW2. These men are very knowledgeable and even more humble.

This makes for a great forum... thanks guys! :D

One last thing, I was going to post this info, but I'm going to let you guys guess; How old do you think Otto is, hmmm?

Ok Otto, you are 38 going on......... ? Geez, I haven't a clue.

But as you said this is ONE FINE board. I haven't had one problem here yet and even the dissagreements are so civil it is incredible. As put, no one that I have seen here has an ego problem and we are all very open to learning even us OPA's....... :D :D

glad to be here. And congrats Carl on your 35th, you didn't tell me man !

    First I must ask:

Otto, if I guess your age correctly--does that mean you will buy me an original--thats a REAL Knights Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaved Swords and Diamonds? :D as there WERE only 27--or better yet--a Bluchersern? :D :D there was only ONE of those.

Erich--sorry about not telling you of my b-day--I forgot  and thanks for the wishes--I needed them.

Also, my sentiments exactly from what is said here--EVERYONE here has my full respect and thanks for making these forums an enjoy to spend what time I can--on them. [IMG]

Yes Carl, and a shiny new Ju87 Stuka, it comes complete with pilot, (a clone of Ulrich-Rudel), and all his awards.

Actually, you probably have some insider info on how old I am because we have had a few dealings in the past, so I'm going to ask you to refrain from guessing. :D Sorry.

I'll only divulge the info when I get a total of 5 guesses...who's next?

Hmmm, your posts refer to 'kids' but you also respond in a, let's say, youthful manner. Looking at your occupation and the fact you tend to hide in your 'study hole' recently....

    Difficult...I would guess a ripe 42... ;)

two more and I'll divulge my age...

Erich, I put the image on a diet and even sent it to a chiropractor, (it's straight now).

Don't feel old, like steve said: "Remember age is all a state of mind". I guess that mean I'm mentally about 40, especially since 5 people guessed around that age. I don't know if that's good or bad, by the time I'm 50, I'll think I'm retired. hehe ;) :D [IMG]

Geez...26...Dude! I was way off the mark...

Well, don't know what that means; I am not good at long distance age-guessing...

I wonder what I did at 26, going on 27...

    :(
