Of course it is not. It is German. Therefore it is classy and a masterpiece of technology and art. If it was British it would be very classy and beautiful, but boring!!!!
Heh heh Martin--thats true. Steve--I agree the Springfield is another great rifle--and im looking for a decent one that is for around $600.00. PS, I havent forgotten what I owe you--I just havent had time to go by the PO before work and I get out of work well after it closes
Eh? You see, Martin? Carl could be the laziest field-marshall ever but he does have nice tastes and can appreciate what is good!!!
HI guys: Carl: When you get there you get their. I aquired my 03-A3 for just under 600.00. It is a 1943 Remington model. From what I can tell the only rounds that were fired through it were the ones done after it was assembled, other than that it is in perfect condition. I think I got a pretty good deal on it. Friedrich: I am still looking for a nice K98. The only problem is finding one that hasnt had the Waffenampts (sp) removed. I am not concerned with match numbers since most did not come back that way. I will let you know when I find one.
Looks like everything's working. I collect vintage photography; and my latest find was about 500 negatives from the US 834th Engineering Battalion. Aviation engineers: they built runways through France, Belgium and Germany. Anyone know where I could go to get some info on this group? Any help would be appreciated.
Hello, Knight Templar - a warm welcome to the Forums ! Being a great Robert Capa fan, I love the idea of your vintage photo collection. I can't answer your question, but I'll bet some of our experts can. ( If you haven't seen a reply after a day or two, try putting a posting under 'Information Requests: US Forces above ).
Wilkommen, Knights Templer!!! I hope you enjoy yourself in this forum and we hope to see you around oftenly. Unfortunately, I am not the one to answer your question. I am like Martin, just good to make silly comments and jokes...
