Seeing as nobody responded in the 'Post WW2 Tanks' section - what is this?
Possibly one of those extremely ultra rare and unique Chieftains that served in Vietnam?
Is it one of those cars that get a reserved parking spot? Look at the rope around it its special.
is it the Vickers MBT?
It's a Khalid Main Battle Tank.
i got it wrong it is not a Vickers MBT. it is a Chieftain MBT.
Definatly a Chieftain. I should know as they built the engine in my home town!
anyone care to post another picture?
We appear to be running two threads on this theme or is there a difference? Anyway, easy peasy for you.
Is it an Arjun MBT (Indian)?
Though it could be an M1, but i've actually never seen one, but the gun looks small so It can't be an M1A1 or A2.
Nope, It's not an Arjun. It's an M1. Final answer. Just checked my book.
Looks suspiciously like an M1...
The tracked vehicle in the background is a BV202
My 'ARSSE' friends tell me it's a 'CATTB'...................
'Component Advanced Technology Test Bed'...................
Abrams based with a 140mm gun.
I wouldn't know, my reccy went out with Cents.
