... the guys who founded the Nazi Party?

If I remember correctly, Hitler was member #7 (or thereabouts) and joined the party after attending a meeting (apparently he was spying on them for the government - or was it the army?).

So what happened to the guys who actually founded the party? Who were they, and did they just drop out of history altogether?

Hilter probably bumped them off on his rise to number 1, as is the case in these things like Lenin and Stalin

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_Party

founded by Anton Drexler, with help from Gottfried Feder, Dietrich Eckart and Karl Harrer. Hitler was member #55

    Their fates...
    (all from Wikipedia)

    Anton Drexler:

    Gottfried Feder:

Very involved, and was even the party leader while Hitler was in jail, until -

    Dietrich Eckhart:

Again, very involved, and a very big influence on Hitler. He was in prison with Hitler, but released due to ill health. And then...

    Karl Harrer:

    No note on his fate...
