Nice display. Like the gold fringe flag. Rich A. in Pa.
Thanks. The flag also has gold leaf on the corners. It was flaking off so I figured to protect it I would keep it flat in the case.
Got this stuff. Civil helmets, protection unit armband,type-4 grenades, red cross door plaques and candy dish, retired Navy door plaque. Rich A. in Pa.
Love the items buddies. This is the place to see them.
Rich, great finds as always. Can you get a close up of the bottom of the dish? Trying to see what is on there. I also think the Red Cross arm bands look fantastic. They look like they have never been used.
I will try to get a better pic. The armband is for a guard team/unit Koybashi ward protection 5th. branch. The 2 white things are door plaques. Rich A. in Pa.

Two new items for me, a Starglobe used for celestial navigation ( Kriegsmarine) and a policeman's helmet pre 1936.
I don’t think I have ever seen the star globe. Pretty amazing and it looks in perfect condition. How would that be mounted and used?
The two photos are from a war cruise, U-552, it was used in conjunction with the slide rule shown in the photos, the example I have ( the cylindrical slide rule is used with it). ( Axel Burbanke's U-552 book (2020 Startverlag.) and "Die Uniformen Der Deutschen Kriegsmarine Enzo and Laurent Berrafato. Zeughaus Verlag. 2010.).
