I dont watch them either though my brother mainly only watches that crap-except when there is a John Wayne or a Clint Eastwood movie on.

Hi Ray, the first shots )The Searchers ending and Dukes tribbute to Harry Carey Sr) and great shot with he and his Son Patrick Wayne.

    2nd post:

Great shot of he and Maureen O'Hara in: The Quiet Man. I hate admitting to it but The Quiet Man is NOT one of my top favorite Duke movies but I like it well enough though ;-))

I can't get the 2nd pic to enlarge for me but it looks like it could be from Jet Pilot? but cant see it well enough o be 100% sure.

Pic 3 looks more like a private photo or maybe a candid shot of him in Hatari? though I dont think its a Hatari set photo.

    Pic 4 im stumped on.

Pic 5) an ultra rare lobby card from a very early Duke "B" Western and from one of the cheapie Production Companies that churned out lower grade "B" Westerns weekly. The Lone Star Studios were one of the more busy violators ;-))

BTW, Lone Star was also known as Malvern Studios. They I THINK were very-Pre-Republic Studios.

Forgot to add that those low grade "B" Westerns Studios churned out around 5,000+++ low grade "B" Westerns between 1930 to around 1953???? or so. These "B" Westerns are not to be confused with the higher grade "B" Westerns who had stars like: Bob and Rex Allen, Gene Autry, "Buffalo" Bob Baker, Smith Ballew, Jim Bannon, Don "Red" Barry, Rex Bell, William Boyd "Hopalong Cassidy" yadda yadda yadda.

BTW, I forget who here had asked me to compile as good a list of "B" Westerns Stars as I could think of-and its a big list so I will make a seperate thread for that list as it only scantily related to John Wayne (and this thread) thanks to his early years working in the "B" Western Oater-movie mills.

Hi Ray, looks like hes with Franchot Tone but I couldnt venture a guess without cheating-to what movie its from.

Heh heh, great little Hogans Heroes bit.

No clue on The Hasty Hearts pic. The only reason I got that name was because it appeared with the photo when I rested the Curser on it ;-)) I tried it on the other one but no success ;-))
