    I look at Talk infrequently, but when I do I'm always struck by the amount of passion for the subject. Obviously, WW2 had a much different meaning in England and on the Continent. Kudos to all for their depth of knowledge.

    What a great synopsis of state of affairs during and immediately after the rescue of WW2 Talk.

    A minor correction though. They initially whinged about an American buying the site (my stars!), then they discovered I was a Canadian living in Chicago, so the "insult" was appended with the North in from of American.
