I finally got MOH European Assault. I agree, I am a bit disappointed at the start. Am anxiously awaiting the Stalingrad and Ardennes missions. Call of duty was by far better. I hope they come out with another one soon. Later
Also should be soon here: Call of Duty 2: Big Red One (PS2) http://ps2.gamespy.com/playstation-2/call-of-duty-2/629105p1.html Pilot Down: Behind Enemy Lines Shot down over Germany in the winter of 1944, Bill Foster, a US Airman, is about to embark on the most daring journey of World War II. Bill must survive against the elements in an epic adventure behind enemy lines. The player must use stealth, resourcefulness and combat to guarantee survival while Captain Killinger, a notorious Luftwaffe pilot, hunts him down and develops into a dangerous enemy within the game. http://www.gamesxtreme.net/ps2/game/pilot-down-behind-enemy-lines/
There is a sequel to Brothers in Arms commming out, Brother's in Arms: Earned in Blood. http://www.brothersinarmsgame.com/us/earnedinblood.php
The Brother´s in arms : Earned in blood is out in the shops soon: October 18th! http://ps2.gamespy.com/playstation-2/brothers-in-arms-2/ ( Now that was fast!)
I guess this one was earlier on PC (?) but anyway just found this one appear in the shops on PS2 Heroes of the Pacific
It's already out for XBox and PC. I picked up the PC version last week and I am very impressed with the vast improvements from the original game. AI enemies react much more realistically now and make clever tactical adjustments to your movements.
Bought the Sniper elite and it actually "happens" in late WW2 when an US military specialist is sent to war-torn Berlin to save the A-bomb etc secrets from the Red Army ( one man operations!! ). He wears the Wehrmacht colours so he only needs to fear the Russians. OK, the story is quite inceredible but the sniping is ok and if you get the Bull´s eye you get to see the whole trip of the bullet to its target through the air. Quite nice, at least to begin with. -------- Big Red One is out on PS2 so that´s the next game to buy for me. --------- Saw for the first time X-box 360 in action in a gaming shop. Must say playing will get another dimension. Saw someone play "King Kong" and the graphics were great as well as the 3-D feeling. Let´s see what PS2 can come up with?
After starting the Big Red One must say it´s quite impressive, on pS2 that is anyway. However sometimes the movement of troops is a bit too fast so it seems a bit like "cartoon-type humour". Great weapons and freedom of movement. Let´s see how it develops. (The Africa battles almost always seem a little disappointing in the end.)
Sorry,Kilroy, Haven´t bought the Heroes of the Pacific yet. Still got a couple of games to complete first... Anyway, this might be next in line: Panzer Elite Action: Fields of Glory http://www.download.com/Panzer-Elite-Action-Fields-of-Glory-demo/3000-7560_4-10492634.html BTW. Not WW2 but this might be interesting http://www.games.net/ps2/110071/index.shtml the game BLACK It should have rather interesting effects included so everything around you can be blown up! The demo was quite good! Maybe soon the game engine used for WW2 games...
Panzer front Ausf B A tank game for PS2. My next purchase. http://ps2.gamespy.com/playstation-2/panzer-front-ausf-b/ The game features historically accurate weapons and tanks, including Germany's III, Italy's M13/14 and the English Mk.IV. The new game engine, coded from the ground up for PlayStation 2, enables the player to view the action from any angle, and even get a zoomed-out bird's eye view of the battlefield.
