First of all, it is my assumption that this is a ww2 helmet. I know that it is certainly from the era and it appears to be fairly aged. I acquired it from a guy who was friends with a helmet collector who has since passed on. No idea what it is whatsoever and there are no markings, although it seems as if there was a badge on the front at one time. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I linked the images with Imgur.

Hey, thanks Rich! I didn't know I had such an interesting helmet. I know it is pretty rough but the history behind M21's, especially a non parade one such as this, is quite cool.

It is a neat helmet. I do not have one. If I see one for sale I would buy it. Rich A. in Pa.

I don't really know what they are worth. Not much of a helmet collector but I do have a German m40 helmet in decent shape.
