Finally saw the full josh gates episode for the lost avenger. They found one of the two planes involved in a mid air collision. That plane the pilot and navigator were rescued but the turret gunner was killed. The second plane was never found lost with the whole crew. They were hoping to find it so the remains could be recovered but sadly they were not able to locate the second plane after doing many soundings and rov searches and dive searches. But the scripts institute says they won't give up and that they will review their data sometimes they have found things going over their recorded data on later reviews. Hopefully they will find that lost plane. On a search for Amelia erharts plane josh found a avenger wreck with remains inside, they reported it to the authorities and hopefully they will be able to recover the remains and identify the the crew and give closure to some families. I think it's odd they never investigated the wreck all these years as the locals knew of the plane for years.
Lol, that would be great but I don't think we've made any headway with antigravity propulsion yet although some universities have made small models using huge machines and energy to make them work so not even feasible at this point but who knows we keep making break thrus in miniaturization and new power cells. I think fan duct tech will be the first a bunch of companies are building flying cars based on fan duct and the drone taxis in China are fan duct engine so who knows avatar choppers here we come. I wonder what they're made of expoxy carbon fiber something light and strong but again automation killing thousands of jobs. Think how many thousands of taxi drivers work in LA and NY they'd be out of a job since these new drone taxis are controlled by a central computer with just a hand full of programmers to monitor the system. Just like nebisco automated a line in one of their factories and that line automation lead to 200 workers being pinked slipped. They say one robot on average replaces ten humans. They save companies money on insurance retirement packages, they can work overtime for free, the problem is as our population increases the amount of jobs is falling with no new jobs being created and soon the automation of fast food will put thousands more out of work these fast food workers thought they could better their wages but the low wages is what made it more economical to keep them now with the higher wages it has off set the economics to where automation is now more affordable I really want to see how it works the automated ordering is 80 percent accurate which I don't understand because they flash you your order list so like what 20 percent of people either can't read or too lazy to check their order before acknowledging affirmative. And how fresh will it be will it be precooked and just heated up by machine or what I read that McDonald's the foods are 80 percent cooked so they can cook it up faster and save cooking time and get the food out faster the fries here are partially cooked and have a yellow food dye to help make them look more golden something most other countries don't allow as part of their safe health food standards. Also they have size limitations like what Oaklands mayor is trying to do worth the soft drink size tax. You have to pay a penny for every ounce over 16 as a tax. I heard a lot of people going into the city buy drinks before entering and some travel out of the city to the next to avoid the taxes I think all it has really done is reduced so food sales that's reduced the city revenue by a small percentage. The next thing will be the size of your meals anything over 2000/2500 calories and a tax based on the over amount. Like a penny for every hundred or worse every ten. I bet their trying to figure out how to do it without getting hundreds of lawsuits thrown at them by law groups all over the city. I'm telling ya if they can do it on soft drinks they'll do it on everything else food, candy, next thing they'll be telling us what to wear, where we can go. I don't care what that lady thinks if I wanna drink a two liter bottle of Mountain Dew or what ever I'm doing it lol, yeah I'm bad I use to drink a bottle a day when I worked a lot, but haven't done that in years now that I can't work I'm more into ice tea or black coffee no sugar and fruit juice and lots of water filtered.
Lol, are those L1A1s lol, shouldn't they have something more modern like the new enfield or one of those new Swiss or German rifles. Need to get a few garden gnomes to mix in with. Need to find some toy that's the same scale that has military packs and belt assessories. Maybe make a back pack radio so you have your assault troops and your communications man. Do they have something like gi joes there?
Hello anybody out there a carpenter, we have a wooden play set for my grand nephews and niece, it was one of those kits. We want to build another one but need to custom build it as my nephews house has a really narrow yard that all sets are too big so we want to build one to fit his yard. I need to know what type of wood is suitable for long exposure to the outdoors, like I've read cedar, red wood and fir is suppose to be good, our patio cover is Douglas fir and lasted years. Just looking for some suggestions. I know I might have to go to a real lumber yard as HD and lowes don't normally stock most cuts of wood although they tell you they can order anything on special order, but they are still a few real lumber yards left like had to go to Santa Ana lumber when I rebuilt our patio had to have it dropped shipped. It was something how they delivered it the whole order bundled together they guy tips it off the bed so it angled on the ground then drives forward the whole load slides off the bed in our drive way. I cut the banding straps and carried the load into the backyard took me two days there was a lot of it five 4x4 x 8 foot five 4x6 x16 foot one 4x10 x10 foot and 80 2x3 x10 foot it was a work out but I managed to carry it all by hand into the back yard building material left out has a habit of disappearing.
Been clearing brush and trees last couple weeks, cleared about a half acre and have four bonfire size piles to burn, just texted the S-I-L and told him = give me a chainsaw, a tractor and a few cases of Pabst and Stand Back.
Ran out of lacquer thinner so I haven't done much work on my models one of my nephews said he'd pick me up some and then hopefully I'm going to try to get out on the patio and work outside on a warm day. It's been heavy overcast and cool rained a few times last week. Maybe I can get my nephew to help stake off the new garden area and started clearing the grass.
