    "Tear-drop observation bay" is pretty unique.

    Look at the wing too and its position (high wing). That's not a B-17 with side-blisters.

    It's Veterans Day in America. Mom and dad were WW!! vets.
    When the military went woke when the manpower shortage in Europe forced them to allow women to do the admin and non combat jobs. Mom was the wokest person I ever knew and enlisted in the SPARS. Funny story. Mom and her SPARS frien went to a baseball game and two men seated behind them kept up a barrage of insults and nasty comments ending with one of the men spilling a beer on her friend who started crying and they left. They met two sailors on the way out who asked what was wrong. Mom told them the story and the sailors asked her to point out the culprits. From what mom heard later the sailors stayed for the game and beat the crap out of the men in the parking lot. MomSPARS.JPG

    Why do so many confuse Veterans Day with Memorial Day? Guess the war dead are vets too.

    To by deceased BFF Marine vet Bruce. When you told me the story of how and why you had to execute the 4 POW's after the firefight I understood. It was necessary for your survival. You said that you didn't want to do it but it had to be done to survive out in the bush.

    I spent years talking
    to and gleaming hours of "What was it like". "Just doing my job and what needed to be done" was the general reply .And years later ran across a Mission Report from WW2 stating " After Action report with attached commendation from Major General (X" ;
    " Results of recent attack on Japanese stronghold determined over 700 Japanese troops killed- several tons of munitions and supplies destroyed and left burning".
    Two Squadrons of P47's providing close Air support to an apprehensive group of Soldiers. During War you hold nothing back. Its Kill or Be killed.

    I've noted the illegal immigrants streaming into Europe and the US...
    Australia had some illegal arrivals this week...They are already gone.
    Australia's policy for years has been "if you come to Australia illegally you have ZERO chances of staying."
    Of course i recognise Australia's unique situation...These people arrive in very inhospitable country - they dont run from the beach and get lost in a city - or cross a river or tunnel under a wall...They land on a beach...Then they WILL be spotted by our indigenous brothers and sisters. - Then they will be deported.
    Once the people smugglers know we are serious and that there are NO ifs or buts...no one will pay thousands to come here knowing they will be sent back. We even advertise in these countries what will happen to them if they try.

    It says "UFO", the "U" being "Unidentified". So it's immediately a flying saucer? :confused:
