To anyone who cares. I know things may not work as they have in the past but give everyone and everything a chance. I don't work as well as I once did. Time was I could literally run for Miles, which really sounds awesome when converted to Kilometers, Or kilometres? if you live outside the USA. 2025 is here and nothing we can do but 'buckup, face the Future and remember that Famous phrase Winston Churchill said, " ". It'll come to me, I'll be back to fill in the blank spot. Most importantly never loose your sense of humor. It's all we really have.
I'm in better shape than I was when my heart was stopping without warning. Weight down, my faculties were adequate. (No one's asking me to do rocket surgery.) The only grandfather I have a history for died at 86, so my wife (12 years younger than me) says she'll shoot me if it seems to be the best idea. I didn't ask for parameters, she might think of some.
Actually, we are about to see perhaps the greatest change in human history in the next 5 years. What a time to be alive! 2025 - 2030 will see stuff of science fiction become reality. AI and robotics are on the edge of full infiltration. Many wont have a job in five years. But many illnesses are about to have their reign ended. If we can avoid WW3 that is...if we can get past the next 5 years without destruction we will have made it to the new world...
Bless your Heart ! I surely hope you're right. Personally I believe this whole AI thing is scarier (more worrisome) than the benefits. Mainly because the average person believes in the 'professional wrestling Federation', politicians, celebrity intelligence & influence :ect. All programming is done and is checked for viability by humanoids. Massive vacuum for subterfuge. Illness will never be conquered per Big Phama. The only cause of job loss or instability is things I've experienced in the past half century and it all came down to business & politics and ended with inflation & many other such badly things. Personally, I'll be very surprised if anything changes in the time I have left on this Earth. AND I'M PLANING ON STICKING AROUND !!
I thought it was time for another instalment of Postcards from Australia...Most of Australia's wildlife is found nowhere else in the world, – 87 per cent of our mammal species, 93 per cent of reptiles, 94 per cent of frogs and 45 per cent of our bird species are found only in Australia. Lets start with my NT - Uluru Its main claim to fame is that this is a SINGLE rock...the biggest rock in the world...5/6th of it is underground. Many tourists say that Australia doesn't look real... Pink lakes... Purple fields... The Wave Rock... Oldest bridge in Australia - Convict built of course. Our coastline has been carved, for a very long time... Seawater pools... And of course our wildlife...which is everywhere... This beauty can fly/glide... A Mammal that lays eggs...This dude has OOOOoooold genes....Echidna Neither Wolf or Dog, the Dingo is its own Canine... Like his mate the Echidna, another Mammal that lays eggs...Platypus A fat wombat... Dinosaur alert! The greater glider, another aviation cutie... Whos cuter? Pygmy Possum... OK this baby platypus gets the gong for cutest...The name for a baby platypus? A Puggle Rarely known outside of Australia is the Bilby... I've been limited to 20 pictures, so i will have to share some more later...
Facebook sucks and is getting worse. I'm dearly bored to such remorse. Time to reminisce, y'all enjoy this; ( I sing so much worse than I rhyme, I'll understand if you decline)
1968, my brother reported to Chanute AFB in Illinois for trades training. The family went to visit him and look around. Lots of static displays, of course. But the B-29 really disappointed me. I commented "I thought it would be bigger." Brother looked ready to fight.
Chanute ya say? Happened to be a little over an hour drive from my home. Well - when I lived in Illannoy. They had the cockpit of a B52 you could crawl into. Just the front 15 feet or so. Believe me it's smaller than you'd think. AND did you know the Tuskegee airmen trained there ?
