I've been to some old timers homes for work. Sometimes it is difficult to move around because of the balls of twine, wire. Old papers and rags. Plastic bags, margarine containers, etc, etc. They are simply doing what they were told back in the day. In order to help the war effort. ...Did things like old bones and rags actually help in any way by saving those items on poster shown?..Or was that to simply remind people not to waste?...To this day, here at least, you do not want to butt in line. Anywhere. You wait your turn. Highway merges, drive through , gas stations, supermarket. Wait your turn.
