Munken-Don't ever critiscize religious people on here again! I am a born-again Christian, and I am going to tell you some facts.
God expresses creation of animals-we know there were dinosaurs-these were God's creation, we don't dispute that. And there was no evolution from fish because we can't stand being submerged, why do you think naval ambitions of man, namely submarining are so unnatural.

It's my human right to critiscize. And I think that the bible was written by some kings in the middle east many many years ago coz it sais that if you sin you will go to hell etc. etc. I think it was just a trick to make people stick to the law.
And if shall go back to the dinosaurs, can you tell me exactly where in the bible it sais: "And God almighty created the dinosaurs". No you can't coz the bible doesn't say that that God created any dinosaurs. And the kings thousands of thousands of years ago didn't know that it had been dinosaurs on earth and therefore it doesn't say anything about the dinosaurs in the bible.

I think that it's only one "religion" that is true an it is the Buddhism and it sais that it is no god and that you should live a kind life anyway.

With all due respect of course.

ok Munken you've said your fill, now it's time for the moderator of this forum to clean up this thread and get back to the Quiz at hand. And Munken as a warning keep your Buddist beliefs to yourself and out of the forums and don't try to get in a conversation about my/Panzerknackers and others religious faith because you've misunderstood it. If you would like to discuss this privately then do so please.....

Munken--it's NOT your human right to berate others just because they choose to believe in the LORD GOD.

I'm NOT going to make fun of you because you do not believe--it IS your GOD given right that you do not have to believe in him. I for one--TOTALLY and FULLY believe in the good LORD and his FATHER.

I guess--we'll not have to worry about "bumping" into each other in the hereafter, will we? [IMG]

Good day--keep any replies clean and keep a cool head about yourself. I have VERY good friends in Sweden as well as in many other countries, and it is not my intentions of insulting them in any way, shape or form.

My good friends in Sweden are good and VERY intelligent people and I am Priviledged to have them as friends. They are also believers in the LORD and I am thankful for that.

That's more words that I typed to you since i've seen you here. [IMG]

Well, Munken. If you have ever read
carefully the Coran or the Bible you would have to know that they are full of symbols and that they all talk about the same, and that is being a kind human being, care for others and love them. When the Bible says that the creation was made in 7 days it means that those 7 days are the 4.500 million years old the Earth is.

That's more than wrong. Firts of all, whether you call it the 'Maxim Idea', the 'Last Cause', Jahvé, Jeovah, Jesus Christ, Alah or Budha you are talking about the same infinite, eternal, immense ALL and incomprehensible thing... And that 'thing' only wants us to behave 'rationally'... and not discuss about these kinds of things. To be tolerant!

And yes, Martin got it right!!!

Field marshal Sir Archibald Wavell was the Commander in Chief of the Middle East since the war started until July 1st 1941 when the ungrateful Winston Churchill sacked his best commander because of the failures of 'Battleaxe' and the defeat of Greece and Crete, not caring about the awesome successes in Somalia, Abissynia, Syria and Libya.

Then field marshal Sir Claude Auchinleck took over and launched operation 'Crusader', which drove Rommel back to Libya. And after Auchinleck's forces were transferred to the far East he personally took command of the VIII Army and tried to hold Rommel. Auchinleck reinforced the British VIII Army and the whole position at El Alamein. Again, Churchill made an escape-goat of him and replaced him with field marshal Sir Harold Alexander in August 18th 1942, who had been sacked himself of the command of the British Forces in Burma, after been unable to hold the Japanese advance...

After Japan joined the war, the command of the Middle East disappeared and the Supreme Command of the Mediterranean Theatre and the Supreme Command of the Far East Theatre were created. Any man could handle over a million troops, thousands of ships and planes from Gibraltar to Saigon and from Greece to Madagascar and from China to Australia...

    After that,

Well then, I will never talk 'bout God again.
I didn't mean to insult anyone [IMG] but i just wanted to know how "believers" did see on the creation of earth etc etc.

"achmet Allah" = God is great. ;)

    Thanx Martin! See ya soon!

    Here´s the next question:

On 28th June 1942 Rommel said this:

" You are to drive on and are to capture Alexandria. You and I will drink coffee together in Shepheard´s hotel in Cairo."

But who was it that he commanded to advance in this fashion??
