David - You are into the soldbuch's and wehprasses isn't it? Are you specializing in it?

Does the wehrpass have some entry's for medals etc?

Carl, 25.00 US ? that seems almost too unreal ! from what I have seen they go for as un-used ones for 50.00 on up and if there are any entries and a pic involved then 100.00 on up. I hope David did not have to pay through the nose for his latest ?

Yep--I saw several priced at $25.00 each and I thought it suspicious. It's possible that these are unissued Wehrpass's? I judt don't know.

    Hi all,

Volkbert - Yep I think I'm going to start specializing in Wehrpasses. It has two medal entries - The EK 2 (1914) and the KVK 2nd class. He would have also been entitled to the Hindenburg Cross.

He had quite a sad story, he survived the entire first world war (1914 - 1919) as a frontline infantryman only to die at the age of 57 in a supply unit in WW2.

I got this off Detlev for 45 Euro (which is cheaper than I would have expected. I would have expected to pay about 60 - 80).

I was lucky it hadn't gone when I got it - Detlev's updates don't last long!

It's now been about a year since I last bought anything from Detlev--just too much competition.

By the way--what does Detlev charge these days for postage? in Euros please--if possible.

Whew!! and--thank you David. I'm glad hs isn't charging 20 Euro like some other dealers are now doing. :(

Oh and I also now have a source for I think Soldbuchs and or Wehrpasses--from 20 Euro to I think 40 Euro.

Friedls Militaria. Nobody else knows about him except for me--nobody that is--opn the other forums. :D

For what kind of items do they charge €20,-?

Carsten charged me €8 for a visor cap last year. Some months later he charged me €10,- for a Demjansk shield. Strange isn't it?

Hi Volkbert--he charged me 20 Euros for two Bronze DRL Sports Badge stickpins and two sets of Imperial German shoulderboards. I'm somewhat angry about the high shipping charges. Jorg Kalies charged 10 Euro when I bought a 4th Garde Grenadier Regimental Cross. I don't know what Weitze charges as i'll never buy from them again because kay bruggemann screwed over a good friend of mine from Switzerland. [IMG] [IMG] I'll also now buy from Andre Heusken and will always buy from Janet Hamilton at Black Cross militaria. I bought a 1939 Ek2 and a Silver PAB from her and was charged only $4.50 for the packaging, shipping and insurance.

Bad news on the shipping costs. Today I received a ribbon bar from stogieman. He charged me $4,- for shipping (on the package I saw it was $5,-).

I bought a nice ribbon bar: EKII, KVKII with swords and eastern front medal. After opening the package I put it on my M43. A ribbon bar on a tunic is so cool!

Ah good--a 3 place ribbon bar--I hope you didn't have to pay more than $12-415.00 for it--not including postage that is. [IMG]

Sorry for the fast typing Stevin --there was a beautiful woman sitting next to me on the other computer. She was the Princess of Sweden ;) :D I couldn't think correctly :D

Good price Volkbert--that's the going average. [IMG]
