If anyone has any ideas about how to improve things here, please let me know. I really like feedback and am very open to tailoring this page to your desires. Many of the improvements that exist now are the result of people giving me their 2 cents. A few of the people who will be working on other aspects of ww2n.com will soon be returning from their other tasks and I anticipate things will begin to move pretty fast here. This means that we will be better equipped to respond to your requests quickly. Let me know.
well the forum seems just fine to me. Although regarding WW2network there are a few links that say "coming soon" but have been a long time coming. Do you know when some of that may be coming? I do enjoy the site though
The only improvements I can see (could) be: Additions to the awards one gets for participating. I think you or someone said you had 8 or 9 already. One thing that comes to mind is: Have a section devoted to militaria with photos. I wouldn't mind sending photos of some of my stuff. Other than that, you are doing an excellent job with this forum. I now spend more time on this forum, that all others combined.
Hi Otto, Although I just joined this board for about 3++ weeks, I just wanna say that this is the best and most well organised WW2 message board ever!!!. The layout of the website is good enough. One webpage I would like to see is our Asiatic Soldat webpage......... hee hee Take your time. Bye!! * Alvin *
Dear Otto, I forgot to tell you that I have a photo CD with I think about 200+++ photos before, during and after WW2. I will be attempting to send you some on your email. Let me know if you get them.
At last - I found a 'feedback' thread ! Although I've only been a member for about a week (!) I have to say that I find the site hugely enjoyable, to the extent that I just can't be bothered to join any of the others. Most importantly, the 'threads' have motivated me to 'backtrack' and re-research my own collection of books etc - adding to my knowledge and enjoyment of my hobby. Otto, your work is much appreciated - many thanks.
Thanks Martin, I appreciate the comments. What has happened here is a slow process of good, educated and mature people becoming members of this Forum. The maturity present here, (and I'm not referring to age), creates a great atmosphere for discussion and research. Honestly Martin, I'd like to take credit for this myself, but there are some great people here that all contribute their part to make this place the interesting, professional, and civilized place I like to think it is. From reading your prolific comments so far, I can tell you have fit in perfectly. I'm glad you like the Forums!
The friendliness and the fresh ideas that are on these forums are what attracted me to them when I accidently stumbled across them back in late 2000 or early 2001.
Yeah i found this site just about 2 years ago from a fan site forum for the movie Pearl Harbor. Someone put a link in there that i found and here i am...i wonder who that person was who posted the link? Oh well, i'm glad they did!
Mighta been me that put the link there, but could have been someone else. I used to like the PH site but it rapidly went south, so I went north.
