I was thinking-alot of members on this forum love to give their "two cents" about certain topics. How about adding an icon that is maybe just a couple of coins?
Not a huge thing but I need the postings to earn my DFC, and plus I thought it was a good idea...

You've got to at least bring a 'Lanc' back on two engines with the windscreen shot out to get your DFC.... :D

Seriously, though, I like your suggestion about the icons. I love using the icons generally because I think they add an element of humour and can help to 'de-fuse' potentially, shall we say, 'confrontational' topics... ;) [IMG]

This is going to sound very weird, but I agree with Martin's idea! [IMG] About the icons I say: I'm with you! ;)

    Excellent-Great minds thinking alike.
Martin-I think I would prefer to walk out on the wing of a stricken 'Lanc' and put out the fires by hand. I remember the guy that did that was awarded the VC.
And Yes I agree-the use of say a 'thumbs up' or a smiley face can make all the difference.

Heres a good hint for more excellent avatars--mainly anyone in the excellent movie: Decision Before Dawn--as ALL of the uniforms and badges were originals.

I think the icon thing is a good idea too. Sometimes it makes the difference between an arguement and a laugh.
