From quite a while back I wanted to thank everyone of you personally for your incredibly kind words, letters and cards during my absence! I was really amazed and I wanted to cry of joy when I saw that huge buch of mail from all over the world!!! Otto: I have told you it already but thanks! I know you gave the adress to everybody and you send two incredible postcards yourself! Thanks to you, this forum exists and we have made many friends because of it! Carl: Again, no letter, but a wonderful book! Thanks! Although a book as a present IS NOT a present without some words and a dedication! Stevin: Thank you, my dear! Your letter was very warm and my family and I appreciated it very much! And your photo: I don't have to tell you that I can't chose who's the cutest; Christa or you... Kai: thanks for the beautiful postcard! very Finnish; cold, simple and elegant! Daniel: I loved the sunflowers and Santa's postcard! Thanks! Erich: Thank you very much for your letters and prayings! I know they helped me quite a lot with the boss up there... Volkbert: Thank you for your nice words and cards; Woerden is a very beautiful town and you seem quite handsome with that Wehrmacht's NCO tunic! My beloved and my mother thought you are very attractive... Jákov: Thank you for your words and please, don't worry about your English! My Kiwi David: The watercolour postcard of Wellington's bay is very pretty! Thank you! Martin: Your handwriting is very elegant and... (this is the only time I am going to say it) the Mosquitoes were truly beautiful... By the way, yours was the first to arrive! Bish: Thank you for your really funny and classy 'Felling rotten' postcard! I found it very cute! Sniper: Yes sir! I obbeyed and I am here! Thanks for the card! Those animals are the only ones I like... Despite of all that I have a serious complain against nearly ALL of you! It really pisses me off! When I receive a letter I MUST respond it! And noone of you had the slightest attention (except for David, Erich and Carl) to write your bloody adresses so I can write you another letter back with some gifts!!! So, as a non comissioned general in here, I order you to send me a Private Message with your adress so I can write you back!!! Understood?!!!
Friedrich, you should know by now that Mosquitoes are always the first to arrive !! But I'm glad you liked it, and am only sorry that you had to undergo such a thing. We'd all just rather have had you here for those months...
I am happy to heard you recived my letter! Nothing is more inportant then know you are fine. (and back on forum!!!!)
Friederich, I joined the forums at about the time you dissapeared...Read as many posts as possible from past discussions. Didnt get involved in get well cards etc, as did not know you. But followed the rest of the users posts and it became obvious you were and are very well thought of. So nothing to say really apart from good to see you, you were genuinely missed by everyone.
Thank you very much, Urgh! It is nice to meet you! I have read many of your postings and I am glad that many new worth it members have joined the forums! And to the others: I am waiting for the Private Messages! Martin: I have already drawn some Mosquitoes for you! I just need your adress so they can be the first to arrive!
Wow! This really is getting to be a second family to us all, I guess!! Great to see you are back in full strength and flight, Friedrich!
Gottfried : Please NO gifts ! This was just a little something from some of us board members to you to help keep you positive and knowing you are in our thoughts and prayers even now. Keep up the good fight and get some exercise and NO MORE doctors ! and don't stress either.... It only makes sense that even with some of our differences here on social issues we are one big family of sorts and I think we do care about our forum buddies E machs gute !
Thank you Bish I also agree with Erich--please no gifts unless its a beautiful female inside a huge cake.
NO! OK. Thinking it better, I'll obbey. I am afraid of dogs and that little Ritterkreuzträger Chihuahua could do me a lot of harm...
