Hi everyone, I'm back. It didn't seem much like vacation since it was cold and rainy and the traveling was a little stressful but I got about 30 pictures taken including some great views around Harpers Ferry. The touring and the gentlemen that led the tour were great. Greg
Welcome back Greg! Can't wait to see the pics...post them here ASAP! Don't know if you were here when these came up...but look! ->
Yes--please post some pics here. Also--tis about time you got back--the Red Baron is getting rusty as he had noone to use as target practice.
Thanks everyone. Dang Carl that dreaded Red Baron is coming after me again LOL. Yes Stevin I did have to fly. First it took an hour and a half to get a cab to go to the hotel, then leaving I was delayed for an hour because of mechanical problems with the plane, then when I connected in Pittsburg they couldn't print out my boarding pass for some reason so they just wrote it out by hand lol. I will post some pics when they get developed. Greg
Greg, No, I lived under the impression that you were going to take a trip in a vintage B17.... New birds are fine to take you from A to B, but a spin in a B17 must be something else....
*Goes down in flames* grrr lol. Stevin the B-17 flight I'm planning on taking is in July. I've already told my dad so he will tag along as well. Anyone else in the area that wants to hook up let me know they have a restaurant right there. Greg
Watch out--he has twin Maxim MGs and they're fully loaded with tracer ammo. I guess the Baron really wants to see a flaming doghouse?
heh heh--can't show it here but--thanks to Daniel--you have a way to put the flames out He sent me a very funny pic of a dog wizzing into a German helmet. This dog is the doghouse's fire-extinguisher. I really wish it could be posted here but.....
OK. Nice you're back, Greg! I thought too that you had gone flying in the B-17... But we'll have to wait for that, won't we?
