In Heidelberg I met an oak leave träger who was unknown till now. He survived the war and looked quite young for a soldier of WWII.

To earn these oak leaves I had to eat a Bratwurst and drink a litre beer.

This weekend I go to Hamburg to earn the swords and brilliants. Therefore I have to visit Detlev Niemann and Helmut Weitze (and spend my monthly wage ;) )

Way to go my friend [IMG] Also--looks as if you went hiking? I had not the time to do so when I was there but would have liked to walk more than just the Schloss, some streets and the lighted bridge.

    Congrats on your Oaks ;)

Carl - I didn't exactly hike but we always carry some stuff like wallet and books with us in a bag. When the picture was made it was my turn to carry it. Nowadays with a pregnant Barbara it is more my turn to carry things than normal. [IMG]

Erich - It's the Dutch 'Deadly' Poison Oak. This was rewarded to only the bravest of the bravest! :D

Understood on the bag :D I also carried one the whole time I was there--mainly to keep things liek my money, camera, extra film and my passport with me. Also--when I bought something small--It has extra pockets to put that stuff in.

[IMG] Volkbert--I have a favor to ask when you get the package in.

Please post the non militaria photos here in the Free Fire Zone because there is more traffic here. The others will do fine in the Militaria section.

Reason I post this instead of an email is this current computer is now locking me out of the systen when I try to do an email. I'm waiting till a better computer comes available.
