David, welcome to the Forums.

No problem with the testing, this is exactly what the FF Zone was created for. [IMG]

I know why your images aren't working. ;) It's because you are attempting to link images that are hosted on a geocities website. Geocities has filters that prevent people from linking directly to their images. Since thay are a free service, they don't want people using them solely as image hosts, something that can get a little costly if they are serving images all over the web.

However, I know of a little cheat. ;)

On your geocities server, rename the extension of you image to .txt, in this case you would rename ennie3.jpg to ennie3.txt. Next, insert the image using the normal image code and it *should* work. Here is an example of the code I'm reffering to:

normal method:
</font><blockquote>code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">[IMG]</pre>
sneaky method:
</font><blockquote>code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">[IMG]</pre>
Hope it works!

The coat of arms is My grandfathers Battalion patch from the "63rd sig bn" the other pic(should be working now, if not it's in my profile) is my grandfather in the local newspapper right after he left.
Thanks

Erich, all the info i have on the unit insignia.

Orange and white are the Signal Corps colors. The four bendlets represent the four battle honors awarded the organization in World War II. The silhouette of the mosque (taken from the Fifth Army shoulder sleeve insignia) is for service in North Africa, and the green boot, representing Italy, is for service in that country.
