Reason why I ask is the past month I've been volunteering at an animal shelter taking care of the cats in the cat room. I always like animals but now I must say I'm even more fond of them.

I have quite a few animals...ranging from the basic to the exotic :D

2 Dogs Ringo - Cocker Spaniel (rescue dog)
    Timex - Lab/Cross
over 100 fish Ranging from tiny Neon Tetras to a 8 inch long Green Sevrum. Also includes Salt water, Breeding pair of Jaguar Cichlids, and I breed Bettas (Siamese fighting fish)
2 Dwarf African Clawed Frogs "bud" and "frog" :D
1 Bearded Dragon "Gizmo". Native to Australia and will grow to be about 2 1/2 feet long.
4 corn snakes The smallest being 3 1/2 feet and the longest being 5 feet 7 inches.
4 Green Anoles The greatest starter lizzard anyone could ask for. Get about 5 inches in length and the males are bright green...not to mention that they stick to the walls of their aquarium!

Well, that's it for now, but I'm building a cage for a pair of Jackson's Chameleons. The male develops three horns on his face (alot like a triceritops) and will get about 24 inches long. The female will get to be about 18 inches. The cage is set up on wheels so we can move it about easily (from inside to outside on nice days) and is 3 feet wide by 4 feet deep by 6 1/2 feet tall, with easy access to the inside through a step in door. All live plants inside and a thin wire mesh to allow easy air movement.

Needless to say I have my own miniature zoo. :D

Beautiful Dog Dave. At my apartment I can't have anything other than fish although I'm moving out soon.

You two have tons of animals. Umm Duce do you charge admission to your zoo? :D

Nice pictures DB !! I have yet to take a picture of my dog with out getting the electric eye look. I only have my dog but at work we have about 700 Rhesus monkeys and about 150 Chimps. (The University of Texas Cancer Research Center) Not many are used for research but they just keep large colonies in case they need them one day.

    Congrats on the horses brad.
I work on my aunts acreacge where she has three quarter horses and my dad used to own/train thouroghbreds (race horses), so I've been around them all my life. :D

Say hello to my newest addition to my pet family:

This isn't actually her but she looks alot like this one. She's a Norwegian Elkhound named Simone. She's an addoption dog from the SPCA and the minute I saw her I fell in love not only with her but with the breed. I can definately see me getting some of these in the future :D

When I first read the thread's tittle, my dirty mind thought about zoofilia: "These crazy forum guys finally reached the limit..." [IMG] But I see gladly that I was wrong and that it is only a rather innocent thread as we use to have threads. [IMG]

I am sorry, but not an animals fan here. I just cannot stand them. I used to own many pets when I was a little kid, but my mother took them all away because little Friedrich was too ill and weak to have pets. After that I became a bittered b*st*rd. I cannot stand animals getting close to me, I don't know why, I just can't. I only tollerate bees and butterflies...

My boyfriend has been begging me for a dog since the first day we moved in together. He is very fond of dogs. "Even a little one" he says. But I can't stand them. What to do?

Besides, my flat is so crowded with plants and flowers that a dog would be dangerous...

Not an animals fan, but a plants one! :D

I got a cat named Angel. When I got her when she was a little kitten, no more than a month old. My earliest memories of her are of me throwing her on my parents bed, or throwing her over my head and then catching her. Then one day I did it and she bit my nose, my nose was bleeding form the inside and outside. Needless to say I've become more gentle.

Who need pets when you have books?....only kidding.

No pets here, First my mom was allergic to everythings with fur (Oh, I did have three gold fish) and now my wife is the same. No furry pets for us!

Duce, I really like "Simone". Same fore Nikolai, David! I love husky's and husky-type dogs. Think they are wonderful. And you are a bit into horse racing too? I love to watch the BBC and see Frankie Dettori (sp?) on his horse...and off...He is a FUNNY guy...

    Stevin...
We don't curently own any right now, although I'm down at the track quite often helping out old family friends with grooming etc.

The following is a list of the horses that my dad had helped train.

Tango King was one of the fastest horses on the Canadian circut and still holds records to date.
Gone To Boston ate sunglasses off your face whenever you got to close.
Brenda's Orphan I don't really know too much about him.

All of them have died long ago, but now that I'm old enough my dad is considering getting back into the buisness and letting me help out.
