All the British forces for obviouse, maybe slightly biased reasons but history starts from hime, right?
In paticuly the RAF though, also the great Naval battles.

The German Forces for many reasons, some hard to explain.
There initial startling victorys of 39-40 were
    they completely changed warfare ie..Blitzreig.
Also there startaling advancements in technology.

The great generals ie..von manstein, guderian, rommel

And i suppose the sinister aspects of it..the nazi party, ss waffen.. i find intriguing, and the uniforms and stuff.

For some reason ive never been interested in the Russians that much, yeh i know of there massive losses, the eastern front but theres something about there style i dont like.

My main interest used to focus on Germany and the US, but as I've got older ( cue sarcastic remark from Friedrich  ) I have to say it's now the UK & Dominions ; especially RAF and Airborne Forces.

Martin, Mr. Airfix asked me to get in touch with you..he knows you have the original but thought you might be interested in the special edition..

He sent me some 1/72nd political police troops as well...

I think I'll give this one a miss, urqh - Airfix 'trotting out' their old Dambuster again. Not a very imaginative rehash, really, is it ?

The biggest surprise was Corgi not releasing a 1/72 Dambuster Lanc for the 60th - boy, did they ever miss an opportunity there !

What the world really needs is for Tamiya to extract the digit and re-release the 1/48 Dambuster which now sells for anything up to 75 pounds on ebay..... [IMG]

Oh for the days of old, all my model aircraft hanging from ceiling on coat hangers having dog fights....Ever seen A neuport take on a B17?

Or a Sunderland in formation, bobbing up and down with the window open in company with a Hudson and Heinkel..

    Flipping Mothers..spoil everything..

No not mine....the kids...she made me take em down last week..she wants to decorate..could be worse I might have had to do it..

Now they are down though...the old 22 air rifle is looking very magnetic..no I cant...can I....
