Do you have a website? If you do, tell us a bit about your website and post a link to it so that everyone can see the results of your hard work and dedication. [ 24. August 2004, 10:44 PM: Message edited by: Deep Web Diver ]
Damn, and I had deleted my website few weeks ago cause I couldn't spare time to keep it update And it wasn't about the WW2 but about betting, another of my passions
www.wwiitech.net I have been helping with the site for a couple of years, the site has information about WW2 technology and we are working on adding information on people and events as well as a section for re-enactors. Not my site as such, but I work on it...
Well I've got 2 but everyone is going to think I'm a nutter if I post my ...er..."Sci-fi" one up ... Here's the *safer* one: http://members.lycos.co.uk/crookintheguts1/Fireball2a.htm
I've got one it is: www.freewebs.com/mahross It covers my 2 main interest military history and modelling.
Sturmgruppen missions 1944 old addy is: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/neilpage if you check on the associated pages there are some 8-10 articles on the web, maybe more. new addy which is about two-three pages for now.... http://members.aol.com/falkeeins/sturmgruppen the site is on hold as some of the information has been pirated for several otherw web-sites and the wait for the JG 300 books to be published. ~Erich
my website is brand new and empty...it needs some posters! http://www.worldwarhistory.net/forums/index.php URL is in my sigline
Hmmmm... Takes time for a forum to build up a base of members. Look at how long this forum has been going!
hate to say it but there are enough forums on WW 2 and a/c and tanks to capture almost anyones imagination. I vist daily about 6-8 and this place is one of them. I know of two to three a/c forum sites that are dying and it is the same posters making the posts on an hourly basis, usually 6 or less. sorry for the negativity but it is reality Erich
The History Vault I only set this up a week ago, so it's very early days. Rather than have a discussion forum, I decided on an essay-based site to give as much info. as possible. I'm hoping to add a hell of a lot more to it, but right now I don't have as much time as I would like. Eventually I hope to cover everything from the Iron Age to the millennium.
Gordon that sounds grand and much success to you. think my site is still running ? more to come esepcially after the 1st of the year and that long awaited book gets published, well at least the first volume http://members.aol.com/falkeeins/Sturmgruppen may also open up a web-site on the night air war over the Reich next year
Erich, I had a look at your site as well as all the others mentioned, and felt humble at the expertise on show.
Gordon, excellent site, some of the articles look like they will be of use to certain other university students who frequent this forum
