I have a parka shell I bought from LL Bean in 1989 that I still wear, as well as pair of Maine Hunting boots.
I've got a pair of White lace-up work boots that I bought in 1971, they've been re-soled twice, but I still wear 'em when I work outdoors or go hunting. My three piece dark gray suit is one I bought in 1974, and it remains both in style it remains intact and fits me (I admit I've had the pants altered for a bit of extra girth). My S-10 is a '82 (I rebuilt the engine 60,000 miles ago), it's almost ten years older than you are "Jagdtiger".
I guess I should go ahead and be brave, and post the only recent picture I have of myself in JPEG format. This is probably a mistake.
That reminds me, I also have a suit (a bit lighter than navy blue) that I bought in 1992 for my son's college graduation. It also still fits me, although I haven't worn it in quite some time. That makes it 17 years old, but still...
I've got two shirts that my mother made for me when I was 12 -- in 1978. I also have my high school graduation gown from 1984 and sundry t-shirts that may pre-date Columbus' exploration of the Carribean.
Youth is not a bad thing. Enjoy it while you have it. One morning you'll wake and your hair has turned gray and your joints hurt for no discernable reason.
