Saparmurat Niyazov, is a clear case when you cross over the line of pc madness to extreme pc. What get's to me here in Great Britain many people hate this pc rubbish and put up with it no wonder we are living in a 1984 society. The power is with the people wake up and all this pc trash will be history.

You couldn't make this up..... Remembrance Day Parade hit by health & safety rules
Of course, the organisers could make the Police look even more stupid by complying with the Highway Code too...and showing both a white light at the front of the march, and a red one to the rear! [IMG]

I am stuck for words.

I would have thought that health & safety had better things to do but clearly not. [IMG]

What about church bells, are you going to ban them too? That would be a pity as they have a tremendous secondary effect as vampire repellents!

This is madness at it's finest. Or as my grandad gruffly remarks on these matters (and the EU) 'Hitler won in the end'.

I don't think that would work well in the USA. People would pull out their guns and blow the hell out of the cameras.

    Anti-social behaviour????

If I lived in 'boro I'd invite all rock heroes from the 70ies, (the ones that's still with us) roll out volumes of booze and let them loose on the streets.

Investing millions of pounds in talking cameras when the Police and Health is screaming for money.... Talk about waste.

Why do they keep doing this. If they think that such investments is going to win them extra votes then they must be mistaken.

    Vote Loonies!!!!

Seems like it would be a boring job to look at the cameras 40 hours a week. I would fall asleep.

You think it's bad in Europe Gordon? Now that the smoking bans are all the rage here in the states, the floodgates are open. I'm thinking they'll go after Starbucks next.
